I selected Frank Castile. He states that the like blurred lines is art, between sanity and insanity and sometimes both.. As I admired the art I thought it was a bit dark.
Yes, the top one is an understandable metaphor for the self... the bottom one however is somewhat twisted in that the guillotine is bathed in a beautiful light from a stain glass window... The blade glints in that gorgeous light.
