for this week I choose Will Dawson art , he's art is verry interesting and make him special he does not use brushes like other artist . he uses Corel draw, a vector drawing program, and work on a PC. his drawing is more dimensional , geometric lines and shape. I love that he uses flowers .
On MOCA under his Bio, he relates that " Vector graphics are based on geometric lines and shapes, and tend to be more "painterly" than bitmap (raster) images. Because they are composed of forms and color fills, vector images have a different texture and style from bitmap images (which address the individual pixel), but are equal at least in esthetic quality, as these image confirm." How is that? What is a vector vs. a bitmap or raster?
